One of the many most effective ways to use coupons is to match them with an item that is of lower value than the coupon. For example: The trial size Advil is $0.97 each. Advil has a coupon out that is $2/1 Advil product, with no size limitations. Using this coupon with that item gives you what's called an "overage" of $1.03! By finding these deals and getting them in large enough number, you can buy other groceries and items that don't go on sale (such as meat, produce and bread).
One of the ways to get a lot of these items when they are money makers is to "buy" coupons on Ebay. Is it considered fraud? No, because you are paying someone for the service of clipping them and mailing them to you.
